New employee: Jason Theobald

As the sputtering process has become more refined, control and monitoring have become more important to our customers, and, correspondingly, our Automation Group has grown. Last month, we welcomed Jason Theobald as an electrical technician. Jason had been at SCI as a contract employee before his hire. He reports to Automation team leader Eric Woodring.

New employee: Scott Ferch

As our new Quality Engineer, Scott Ferch will enhance the quality program to ensure customer needs are met. Ferch, an Owatonna native, has an associate degree in design engineering from Northwest Technology Institute in Eden Prairie, MN. With his previous position with a cryogenic equipment manufacturer, he has experience with vacuum systems.

New employee: Austin Slimmer

We recently welcomed Austin Slimmer as a new purchaser. A native of Kansas, he has an Associate degree in Construction and Science from Allen Community College near Topeka Kansas. Prior to joining Sputtering Components, he was a buyer at a modular building manufacturer nearby.
