John Schmeling joins SCI as International Sales Manager

Sputtering Components, Inc. is pleased to announce that effective June 23, 2014, John Schmeling has joined the SCI sales team as International Sales Manager. John will be responsible for working with our sales representatives and distributors in the key market regions of Europe, The Middle East, Africa, and Central and South America.

John’s primary responsibilities include generating new business and ensuring growth of existing accounts, developing new market opportunities, and providing basic training to SCI clients and distributors. 

John has an extensive sales and marketing background with over twenty years of experience in the technical glass, thin film optics, and the vacuum deposition industries.  He has a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service with clients throughout the world, and looks forward to building outstanding relationships with the SCI customer base.  John possesses a degree in Mechanical Engineering, with an emphasis in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research, from the University of Minnesota.
