Summer intern: Alexandra Schäfer

All the way from Mehlingen, Germany, where she is an apprentice with our European representative, robeko, Alexandra Schäfer is interning with us this summer.

She has been learning about and helping functions here: inventory, purchasing, sales and marketing.

Schäfer wanted to come to SCI to learn how business is done in America, get a better understanding of the products Sputtering Components makes and get input to decide what department she wants to work in in the future.

“Knowing more about SCI products will help me provide a better experience for robeko’s customers,” she said. “Furthermore, I am getting to know the people at SCI, which will help me find the right person when I am working to provide a customer solution."
